Green Light can provide airport or seaport management with a confi dential evaluation of the effectiveness of their security operation and measure their compliance with national and international standards. Our audits cover all areas of the operation, the procedures enacted, the usage of manpower, staff training, technical maintenance provided and emergency response capability. The auditors are initially shown around the site and, once provided with appropriate passes, conduct their inspection unaccompanied over the course of a number of days. The audit normally encompasses passenger terminals, cargo facilities, catering facilities, the perimeter, car parks, public areas, fuel farms, all restricted zones and, for airports, the runways and air traffic control tower. Most audits last around four days and are carried out by two inspectors. It is possible, however, that the size of the operation may either necessitate an increase or decrease in the time in which the auditors are on location, or an increase or decrease in the number of auditors. The audit will be conducted around-the-clock (as opposed to during offi ce hours) and transportation between the hotel and the airport will need to be available 24 hours per day. The audit concludes with the auditors presenting a summary of initial findings to senior management. A formal report is then submitted within 15 working days of the audit’s conclusion. |
