10th Israeli Transportation Security Solutions Tour
3rd-9th December 2012
Sponsored by

Welcome to the tenth edition of the Israeli Transportation Security Solutions Delegation organised by Green Light Limited in association with The Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute (IEICI) and Israeli Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labour.

Each of our previous delegations have brought together security professionals and representatives of regulatory agencies, air and seaport authorities, airlines and shipping companies from around the globe, where each participant has been keen to enhance their understanding as to how Israel protects its transportation infrastructure, whilst witnessing some of the technological developments that assist in the process. The visits provide the perfect opportunity to discuss and question solutions, both amongst fellow delegates and with Israeli security experts.
The 10th delegation differs from previous ones inasmuch as there will be much greater focus on technologies and how they can be intelligently deployed to deliver a security solution that is both state-of-the-art and common-sense based in nature. The technologies will be demonstrated in a live operational environment.
No security delegation to Israel is complete without a look behind the scenes at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport – widely regarded as the gold standard in airport security worldwide – and no visit to the Holy Land is complete without a visit to the Old City of Jerusalem, viewed on our delegations from both touristic and security standpoints.
In December 2012, over the course of one week, delegates will have an opportunity to see how technology can assist in passenger profiling, how airport and seaport perimeters can be enhanced through access control, fencing and intrusion detection solutions, how aircraft can be better protected in-flight through counter-MANPADS products and how all security technologies can be networked together to provide a complete solution to run in tandem with the human element which, we believe, will always be part of the solution.

RESTRICTIONS
All participants must be employed by recognised transportation entities, security regulators or security integrators. All participants will be required to provide copies of the personal data pages of their passports. The IEICI reserves the right to accept or reject applications without need for explanation. Initially, no more than four delegates will be accepted from any one organisation.

The delegation will only be confirmed as proceeding once 15 delegates have confirmed their participation. Accordingly, delegates are advised not to purchase non-refundable air tickets until confirmation has been received from Green Light that a sufficient number of delegates have registered. The latest date by which delegates will be advised of any cancellation of the delegation due to insufficient registration is 15 October 2012.

ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORTATION
Participants will be expected to pay for their own transportation to and from Israel, taxis to and from their hotel on arrival / departure and accommodation. Rates include all transportation during the tour itself, including coach transfer to Eilat and air travel back to Tel Aviv. Some lunches will be hosted by the organisers.

Preferential rates are being negotiated at 4-star hotels in Tel Aviv and Eilat. Please check our website for rates. Delegates are not obligated to stay in the tour hotels, however they should note that these will be the designated departure points on each day. There are also 5-star and de luxe hotels available, as well as more economical options; delegates will have to make their own reservations with these hotels.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations received after 1 August 2012 will be liable for 50% of the delegation fee paid and 100% if the cancellation is after 1 October 2012.
